Produced by BARON DE LEY, from 100% TEMPRANILLO
Grapes are hand harvested at the end of September. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats at 30°C for 1 week with 2 weeks of maceration and 2 pump overs per day. The wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels and stayed for further 6 months in 10,000 litre French oak “foudres”. Bottled without filtration to retain the fruit characteristics of the wine.

Lovely, really lovely smell. American oak, but not over. Just a gentle, calming aroma that soothes. Dry and oaky but with enough body and freshness to make it lovely in the mouth. Yum.
