Produced by CASTELLANI, from 100% SANGIOVESE This Chianti Classico has been produced using a selection of the grapes grown in the Campomaggio vineyard. Traditional vinification methods used in order to gain a well structured Chianti Classico which is then aged for 12 months in oak casks. It is then aged for a further year in bottle. 12.5%vol Lemon pith on the nose. Not expected, but very enjoyable. Very inviting nose indeed. Carried through to the palate. Lightweight but spicy and interesting. Like it. 08/10/2008
