Produced by Zilzie Wines, from 100% Viognier The grapes were crushed, chilled and the membrane pressed. The majority of the juice was fermented cleanly and stored in stainless steel to maximise the fresh fruit characters of the Viognier. A small portion of the Viognier was fermented in French oak to add secondary spicy notes and enhance the naturally viscous palate of this variety. 15%vol Lightly fruity nose. Dry, with warm alcohol. Some peach flavours on the finish, but not an £8 wine. 08/10/2008
