Produced by DOMAINES PAUL MAS, from 70% CHARDONNAY,30% VIOGNIER Each grape variety is vinified separately, no skin contact, low temperature racking at 8°C. 3 weeks temperature controlled fermentation (17°C) with selected yeasts. 13.5%vol Awards: Decanter 2008, Silver; Top 100 Vin de Pays 2008; IWSC 2008, Bronze It’s called ribet white, which I suppose is moderately funny. Floral, appealing smell. Full, rich flavour. Actually, I was ready to disapprove, but it is a reasonable wine. £7 is pushing it, though, but worth grabbing on special offer. 08/10/2008
