Forrester Meinert Chenin is the pinnacle of what we consider to be the finest expression of the grapes of this varietal - an icon Chenin. Forrester Vineyards, owned by Ken Forrester, is one of the oldest wine farms in the Cape. Situated on the slopes of the Helderberg mountains, between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. The Chenin Blanc grapes are grown on the farm and made in Devon Valley in Martin Meinert's wine cellar.
Darkish colour. Freshly cut wood on the nose. Sweet, vibrant and very appealing taste. Oaky, but it is balanced and the freshness is so moreish. Yum
