The Chateau itself is one of the oldest and largest in Burgundy, and many would say that it is the most elegant and beautiful. After the Second World War the Chateau lay abandoned for many years. In the early 1990's there was major investment in the cellars and vineyards, and the results are very evident in the quality of the wines. This Saint Aubin comes from a vineyard of 5 hectares. Oaky, savoury, appealing smell. Pretty oaky in the mouth.
