Produced by PETER LEHMANN WINES, from 100% SEMILLION
The fruit was picked early, crushed, chilled and the juice separated immediately from the skins to enhance delicacy. Following cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine was clarified and bottled.
11.5%vol

Absolutely typical lanolin smell. This wine continues to be excellent. Zingy, tangy and invigorating in the mouth. Yum.

Tesco have cut the price of the 2005 to £4.90 as a bin end. I bought a case for £3.80ish with the 25% off.

They're replacing it with the new 2008 early harvest, 10.5% alc..

Looks very pale and in need of about 200 years bottle age to get to where the 2005 is.

Good grief !

*sighs*

I remember the days when one could get this for £2.70 a bottle from Tesco online.

Love this wine.

It goes on a funny journey does this wine. Light and simple after 1 year. Rich and heavy after 2 and now beginning to mellow into the real thing after 3.

Supposed to be at it's waxy peek after 5.

After 10 years you can spread it on your toast*

We love your rubbish! And it's not rubbish, it makes complete sense.

I have an '02 in the rack, I kept it specifically to see how it would taste after ten years. Just four more to go.
