Grapes are hand picked from selected Chenin Blanc vineyards. Only the best free run juices are used for the wine and are settled overnight before fermentation. The juices are fermented with yeast to capture all the natural flavours. Oak/lees treatment: After fermentation, the wine is left on the primary lees to add complexity prior to bottling and stabilisation.
Ken Forrester is a restaurateur at heart and after being at the helm of some of South Africa's best restaurants since 1980, is now fully involved in growing his own vines and making world class wine. Their philosophy is to create a range of handcrafted, individually made wines. The grapes that have been selected are from some of the oldest vineyards in the Western Cape.

Rich, ripe, apricot smell. Dry, but fruity and with a peardrop finish which I'm not too keen on.
