Made for M&S by Nigel Fraser, Montana (Pernod Ricard) from 100% Pinot Noir.
Pre-harvest shoot and crop management with manual leaf plucking is carried out. The harvested grapes are de- stemmed then undergo a six-day cold soak prior to fermentation in mainly open-top fermenters. A post- ferment maceration period adds structure and flavour. The wine is aged in a mix of new, one and two year old oak.

Sweet cured back bacon smell. Heaven. Tasted after a row of monsters and is quite a juicy, fresh relief. The taste seems slightly lacking in complexity but perhaps it needs time.
