Made for M&S by Alessandro Michelon, Santa Tresa from 100% Nero d’Avola.
Terra Rossa soil – light red sandy loam on a well-drained limestone base. The grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation at 26-28ºC. Malolactic fermentation in American and French oak barriques, after which the wine is aged for at least 12 months.

Dark, dense colour. Very dark and caramelised aroma at the same time as something light and fresh. Sweet, ripe fruit. Rather like it. Would love to try it with something herby and Italian.
