Made for M&S by Inmaculada Pérez, Peter Bright, Antonio Calleja from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Syrah.
The grapes are grown at 650m altitude in shallow, unirrigated soils. Old (25 years) bush vines are used for the Tempranillo and vertical trellising is used for the Syrah. Vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel fermenters with frequent pumping over. All of the fruit is hand-harvested.

Hot, dark nose. The label makes you think it’ll be Rioja-like and fragrant but in fact it’s hot and jammy. Not good.
