Petit Verdot from the Riverina, aged in a combination of new and used French and Hungarian oak barrels for 12 months.

Deep, intense colour and heady, rather exciting smell. Spicy and exotic. Sweet, intense and tropical fruity taste, but balanced by refreshing mint. The 14.5% alcohol is hidden and I'm rather taken with it. Not for beef stew!
