80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot. The 2nd wine of Gruaud - Larose. Vinified 60% in concrete tanks and 40% in oak. 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, one third of which are renewed every year.

Garnet/brick colour. Minty, Cabernet and cedar smell. Fresh acidity with an only-just-ripe blackcurrant flavour and some blackcurrant leaves. Begging for food.
