Made for M&S by Nicolas Rappeneau, Foncalieu from 100% Merlot.
The grapes had greater exposure to the sunlight to ensure good phenolic ripeness. Traditional methods are used for the vinification of this blend, with short maceration (12 days) to emphasise the specific aromatic profile of the grape variety. 40% of the blend comes from a long maceration (22 to 27 days) to add complexity. This wine is unoaked.

Young, stalky Merlot on the noses. Very stalky taste. Young and juicy but to raw for me.
