Made for Tesco by Castelli del Grevepesa SCA. 24 months in big Slovenian oak casks and minimum of 3 months subsequent bottle-ageing before release. Castelli del Grevepesa is a Co-operative producing wines with the grapes from its own associated vintners. Established by some local vintners in 1965, the Company has become over the years the largest producer of Chianti Classico.

Oaky, dried cherry smell. Quite inviting. Very oaky in the mouth, without the fruit to back it up. Not going to get any better either. 13.3%
