Made for Tesco by Barcelo. Aged in 225 litre Bordeaux barrels of French & American oak. Produced in the Vina Mayor winery in the Ribera del Duero region, a stone's throw from one of Spain's most renowned producers, Vega Sicilia. Sam Harrop MW has worked closely with Barcelo's wine-making team to produce this soft, vibrant red wine. Barcelo is one of Spain's leading producers with wineries across Spain's key regions including Rioja and Castilla Y Leon.

Ripe dark fruit aromas, no sign of any oak. Dark, ripe fruit in the mouth. Quite warm and NW in style. Seems quite butch after the Riojas. 13.5%
