Made for Tesco by Kuehn Vins d’Alsace. 9 grams/litre residual sugar. Traditional method of fermentation in bottle (like Méthode Champenoise). Ageing on the lees for 15 months before being disgorged and topped. This Champagne-style wine is a rarity among Crémants d'Alsace since it is 100% Riesling, which gives it a unique character.
Very interesting, lightly petrol-scented. Wow, I like this. Some texture and fresh green flavours. Mouth watering. How have I got to be this age and never had sparkling Alsace Riesling before? 11.5%
