Dark colour. Smells like buttered toast. Very heavy on the butter, so you can see teeth marks in it - sorry entered into that one too deeply! Toasty, with warm alcohol. Almost resembles white Burgundy because of the 3 years' bottle age, which has made the aftertaste nicely nutty.
