Very, very ripe gooseberry smell. Exactly, exactly like a gooseberry smells, despite being served very cold. Tastes very strongly of gooseberry. Nice balance. Can't feel the 14% alcohol. Long gooseberry flavour.

Is this anything iike Clifford Bay...owned by Villa Maria but still made by the folk who owned Clifford Bay before Villa Maria took over.

And probably the best sauv on the planet !!
