Very appealing violet smell. Wood and leather. Farmyardy, leathery, smooth and fabulous. V good value. Bet they haven't got it in my branch. Damn!

Had this last night, wonderful acidity, what a finish! Plenty of character, a real treat, good call Mel. We had a spiced sausage casserole for dinner and this wine held its own well, made for it.

There's plenty at my local store :D
