Very attractive, minty blackcurrant smell. This is a very good, reasonably priced wine. Well-balanced and nicely herbal. Not sure the new label is an improvement.

Mel, can you confirm which of the Co-Op Coonawarra Cabs you are refering to here..

They were recently promoting the 'Cellar Reserve' made by Palandri for £5.99

They also have their Co-Op branded Coonawarra-

Co-op Coonawarra Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 - it just says winemaker Wayne Stehbens (sic) and the label below rings a bell.
