Cherry smell. Touch of fizz. Not unpleasant, but not great, either.

yes mel, agree with u, had this wine l;ast night, on offer at Asda for £4.
Nopt a patch on the previous vintage 2005. The 2006, is tighter, more immediate wine, fresh but less depth than 2005. Greater viscosity with the 2005, the 2006 been lighter less dense. I would pay £5 plus for the 2005, but not £5 + for the 2006
