Hi, went to an offliner on Friday and had some lovely wines.
Two champagnes below which might be of some help.

Vilmart Grand Cellier d'Or 2001 Champagne

Smoky, lemon meringue nose and a light-ish lemon sherbert palate.
A very fresh and light fizz with nice small bubbles.

I preferred this over the 2000. (see below)

Vilmart Coeur de Cuvée 2000 Champagne.

Much richer and creamy, almost caramelly palate, balanced by lemony acidity again with nice small bubbles.

Two good bottles which had mixed reviews, I would say 60/40 for the 2000.
