14% Semillon. 5.7 g/l sugar. Creamy smell. Slight prickle. You can feel the Semillon. Not a gooseberry in sight. Residual sugar is high, but it seems balanced and not OTT.

No, no, just happened to see your Sem reference and checked my bottle. Nothing on the internet either. Quiet night tonight and tomorrow as off to Devizes again on Sunday. The St Claire Estate or VM Cellar planned as reward on return c. 2200

I expect the Sem is there. They don't have to mention it. Tesco like to spill the beans to the press.

Thanks, it did have something of the night about it, but couldn't put my finger on it. That's why there are so many Sileni SBs I guess. Will approach the next with that in mind. Very interesting notes on the fortified too.
