100% Sauvignon Blanc. A blend of wine from 3 regions of France; Loire Valley, Gascony and Languedoc. Fermented at low temperatures to retain freshness. Aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. Winemaker ~ Serge DeBucy, Lachateau Winery, Loire Valley. IWC 2009 - Silver, IWSC 2009 - Silver.
Very lightweight bottle = good for planet. Nice, fresh, green, catty nose. Green, fresh taste. Sainsbury £5.99 is about right, but worth grabbing when it's reduced, as it surely will be.
New vintage, available now, 389 stores, screw cap12%

Thanks Mel, that explains the "VdP Vignobles". What can one say?? It's all there, kiwi, gooseberries, lime, wet dog, take your pick, whatever, the whole nine yards. No frills, no pretentions but a really fine glassful. Or two, or three...
