100% Syrah. The vineyards are sited on the famous Hermitage hill situated on the left bank of the Rhône river. The wine undergoes a classic long fermentation and time on the skins lasting for 20 days. The wine is then run off while still warm into barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels. Winemakers ~ Xavier Frouin & Olivier Ciosi.
