100% Pinot Noir, machine-harvested early to mid September 2008. The grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by cold maceration and a 2 week fermentation period in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. 10% aged in French oak barrels with the remainder aged for three months in tank. Some cherry on the nose and warmth. Hot and unlovely in the mouth.
