Winemaker and winery: Wilhelm Kritzinger and viticulturist, Dirkie Morkel who is the fourth-generation owner of Bellevue Estate.

Grape Variety: 100% Pinotage.

Region: Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Viticulture/Vinification: Grapes are hand-picked in February from bush vines planted in duplex soils. The grapes were harvested at approximately 25° balling and fermented between 26- 28°C for about four days. The wine is aged in American oak barrels (50% new and 50% second-fill) for 12 months.
Very, very aromatic – like good vanilla custard. Sweet, vanilla flavour which lasts well and some slightly bitter dark fruit.

14%
major stores.
