Region: Uco Valley, Mendoza.
Viticulture/Vinification: High altitude vineyards - up to 1,400 metres above sea level. Sandy soils with loose-clay particles and very low levels of organic matter. Average age of vines is between 8 and 12 years. Hand harvesting, destemming, cold skin maceration at 10º C for 5 hours, pneumatic pressing, cold settling (36 hours), addition of selected yeasts, controlled fermentation at 15º C for 21 days. 40% of the wine is aged in oak for 3 months: 60% in French oak and 40% in American oak.

Strong vanilla and ripe tropical fruits on the nose. A lot of oak in the mouth, really quite chewy and with a bitter taste.
