The first 'in partnership with' Douro red comes from Quinta de la Rosa, where winemaker Jorge Moreira has worked with the buyer to produce a Reserve blend of one third Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. Schistous soils support cordon-trained 25 year old vines. Hand-harvested from 20th Sept, fermented in stainless steel then aged in French oak. Suitable for vegetarians.

Ripely, darkly fruity nose. Sweet, warm and like spicy, bramble syrup. Alc 14%, TA 5.75g/l, pH 3.64. Available from Wine Direct and 192 branches. 23
