Hence the expansion of 'Vin à Deux' -more attuned to the requirements of that customer segment. This Gamay is a red alternative to the Chardonnay bearing the same name. The Ampelidae estate, situated in the Haut-Poitou district of western Loire, was set up in 1995 with just 8ha and now runs to 50ha. The vineyards are farmed on a 'lutte raisonnée' basis. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Lightly violet perfumed. Fairly tannic and young with some spice.
