Produced by CAVE DE TAIN L’HERMITAGE, from 100% SYRAH Destemming followed by temperature controlled fermentation in vats for 8-12 days with pumping over twice a day. 30% of the wine is aged for 6 - 8 months in 400 litre French oak barrels. The wines are fined and undergo light membrane filtration before bottling. 12.5%vol Plummy fruit on the nose and quite fragrant. Fresh and clean in the mouth. Definitely lightweight, but good for a picnic. Not a dinner party wine. 08/10/2008
