Grapes were selected from old vines with low yields and were harvested mid to end of September.
The wine was fermented for 18 days in stainless steel tanks at 22 degrees to ensure maximum freshness and fruit flavours.
Oak/lees treatment: After fermentation the wine was put in French and American oak barrels. It was racked 6 times, once every 3 months.
The wine has been aged for 3 years - 18 months in barrel and 18 months in the
bottle.

In 1956 a group of agricultural workers joined together to create what is known as Vinedos de Aldeanueva. Today the winery has 850 partners who own 2,600 hectares, which is 7% of the total production from the D.O. Located in Aldeanueva de Ebro, with an average annual production of 18 million kilos; this is the biggest Rioja producing wine cellar and the most important one in Rioja Baja.

Not much smell, but is it cheap. Oaky taste. Cheesy texture. Fair for the price.
