The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 18°C, after which the young wine matures on fine lees for several months before filtration and bottling.
Ageing: Bottled following a 6 month period of settling and integration on its fine lees, this wine was then bottled and underwent a further 3 months bottle-ageing prior to release.

This proud corner of Italy was part of the Austrian empire until the first world war and German (more-specifically the Tyrolean dialect) remains the first language. In a sense, the wines of the Alto Adige reflect this heritage by having a teutonic alpine purity.

Sweet, floral and very interesting for Pinot Grigio. Overall dry, but with plenty of fruity. Alcohol seems pretty warm at 13%.
