Made for M&S by Pierrick Harang and Henri Parayre. Vignerons Catalans from 50% Syrah, 36% Grenache Noir and 14% Carignan.

Sunny, hot summer and dry, windy winter. Fruit from mature vines aged between 25 and 50 years old. A long carbonic maceration for the Carignan and long traditional maceration for the Syrah and Grenache Noir. This wine is aged in 85% French oak for one year.

– 200 stores.

Woody, coffee aromas which smell warm and welcoming. Warm palate but not painfully hot. Spicy and interesting. Still a good wine, but £8.99 is the absolute limit and I’d rather wait until it’s reduced.
