Made for M&S by Bernard Marty and Christian Pons, SCV les Vignerons du Château de Calce from 50% Carignan Noir and 50% Grenache Noir.

Unlike many red wines from the region, the fruit is fermented at cooler temperatures, with limited extraction of tannins. Made in a very non-interventional manner. A portion of the wine is fermented in 2-3 year-old oak barrels.

Spicy nose. Young, with fresh cherry flavours although not terribly ripe cherries.
