Made for Tesco by Les Vins Skalli, from 60% Grenache Noir, 25% Syrah, 8% Cinsault and 7% Mourvedre. Each grape variety is vinified separately at 28° during 15 days in stainless steel tank. Pumping-over and punching of the cap twice a day. Maceration around 22/24°C. Tasting every 2 days. Devatting when the wine is at its optimum level
20% is aged in French oak barrels during 6/8 months, 35% in wooden tun during 4/5 months and 45% is aged in tank for 8/10 months before blending . Then the wine is kept in bottles during several months in our cool and dark cellar before release.
Pale, with juicy, fruity nose. Bitter cherry taste. Quite plain and needs some time to evolve. 14%
