Made for Tesco by Fournier Père et Fils. Ageing in steel tanks. Fournier are wine growers making classic Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé in their family winery. Claude is responsible for making the wine, and he is constantly experimenting with new techniques to improve quality. His wines can be described as herby, gunflint-smoky, combining appealing aromas with a refreshing crispness.
A more creamy smell than the Pouilly Fumé - less green and interesting. Bone dry and typical. Definitely for the purists. The Pouilly Fumé is fruitier and more appealing but this is straight and pure and lasts and lasts. 12.5%
