Made for Tesco by Vaucher Pere et Fils. The Chablis vineyards near the town of Auxerre lie halfway between Dijon and Paris. The Chablis vineyards extend over the limestone (Kimmeridgian) slopes of the River Serein. The continental climate - hot in summer and cold in winter, with severe spring frosts - and the marly limestone soil combine to form the unique character of Chablis wines.

Very appealing mineral aroma. Quite like rain on warm stones, but with creamy, lemony fruit as well. This is good. Tastes full and textured. Plenty of lees contact and lasts well. Good effort. 12.5%
