Made for Tesco by Cave des Vignerons de Buxy. Classic Burgundian white fermentation at low temperature with one part in new oak barrels (2 weeks duration). Malolactic fermentation and ageing in stainless steel and oak barrels for 6 months prior to bottling. This wine finds its origin in the Côte Chalonnaise on the outskirts of the prestigious Montagny Appellation. The wines produced are renowned for their elegance and minerality and they are complex enough wines to age. The Cave de Buxy is probably the most modern winery of Burgundy, open to the latest oenological development also keeping one foot in tradition.
Light, lemony smell. Very lemony acidity. Gripping and quite intensely vibrant in the mouth, which makes up for a fairly basic nose. 13%
