75% Pinot Grigio, 25% Verduzzo. Nice label. Smells of toast and lime flowers, due to being aged for 3 months in barrique plus the appassimento process - the Verduzzo grapes are ripened on racks for 3 weeks after picking, then cryo-macerated for 36 hours at 5 degrees before fermentation. Quite a full taste and certainly a lot more interesting than straight PG. Bitter at the end, but interesting.
