100% Sauvignon Blanc made by Franck Chatelain, head winemaker at the Bougrier family’s Touraine winery in the village of St Georgessur-
Cher. Selecting the grapes from small growers working under contract (imposing a respect for the sustainable viticulture principles
of lutte raisonnée), the wine is made from grapes grown on a selection of chalk, sand and flint. The grapes were harvested in perfect
conditions in late-Sept by machine, then fermented at cool temperatures of 16 - 18°C and matured on lees to gain extra complexity.
Winemaker Franck Chatelain. Alc 12.0%, TA 4.7g/l, pH 3.2, RS 3.0g/l. Special Offer: Save 25%, £7.99 - £5.99 from 09/11/11 to 06/12/11.
Waitrose Wine Direct and 152 branches.

There’s a lovely, fresh, peapod aroma, but it doesn’t shout at you. Nice, sweet, grapey fruit and fresh, light, acidity. Good.
