100% Fiano from Cantine Settesoli selected vineyards in the Menfi area. Vines are 10 years old and planted at 4,200 - 4,500vines/ha.
Grapes were hand-harvested with a low yield of 65 - 75hl/ha resulting from poor fruit set and a heat wave which shortened the harvest
window. The fruit was destemmed and crushed, then chilled to 8°C and softly pressed in a membrane press with minimal skin contact.
Fermented with selected yeasts at 15 - 18°C. No malolactic and stored in tank on lees with bâtonnage. Winemakers Domenico de

Almost nothing on the nose. Bitter and not very interesting. Might be ok with food, but there are better Fianos out there.
