This is a decent new world pinot noir. Don't just take my word for it, I found this link after coming to my conclusion.

RM Carneros, Napa Valley 2007

Looking for an affordable new world PN, that actually has significant farmyard and other animal whiffs on the nose, plus a proper and decent PN aroma & flavour - (no NZ cough sweets or sweet Benylin here) some real depth of fruit, semi dry full style, evolved, and also still alive, Yeah.... You won't be unhappy with this offering from Robert Mondavi.

He knows how to make the burgundy clone, and it didn't taste hot. No alc level on this USA labelled bottle. Cool winds up the valley, hand picked fruit, whole cluster cool fermentation and french oak aging are some of the ingredients for a half decent NW pinot noir.

Be sure to age the wine a bit, and then, to decant the wine for full opening.

Against a load of phamaceutical and hyped sweet nonsense these days - :qofgoodvalue: look for the deals, then age in your cellar at home.
