White Rioja made in the ultra modern style. Viura grape, no oak, fermented to medium dry, 12% ALC which is welcome.

Inoffensive white wine that tastes of pears, slightly darker colour than I thought it might be. Would be suitable for a party, as younger quests could put ice cubes in it if they wanted, and as the host, you wouldn't care. It says Rioja on the label, but you'd be hard pushed to identify it as such. Fine for a garden party in the Summer, nobody (other than your close friends) would comment or complain. Would make a Spritzer.

A wee bit expensive for what it is, the one I tried came in a mixed case that was on offer.
