Fresh, clean, mineral smell. Zingy acidity, intense fresh flavours. Some buffering on the acidity by creamy lees flavours. Very good.

William Fevre Chablis 2009 La Maladiere Majestic £11.99 offer

Proper Chablis and without faults, Fevre say their fruit for this wine came from vineyards close to the 1er Crus.

Same as ....Fresh Clean mineral as well as a nice white floral scent. Zingy acidity, intense fresh flavours. The same countering / balancing on the acidity by creamy lees flavours and fruit concentration. Very good: Purity in the modern style.

Same for the '09 as the '05 with the added extra floral nose. Two of the ladies said "slightly perfumed" before sipping.

Lovely stuff, and representative of a good vintage. So I'm giving a
