Clean, green, citrus aroma. Primary, grapey, but not floral at all. Like the smell in a winery when new white wine is being made. The taste is sharp and clean, like Chablis without the lees. Good, well-balanced dry white wine. Well-judged, well put together. Cannot say fairer.

I'll just go with the above...better than anything up with which I could come. I still expect Chardonnay (without a posh French appelation) to be fruity and chunky. This is a great effort at the more northern manifestations.
