Cooked fruit, rather than zingy, green and fresh on the nose. In the mouth it’s quite savoury and again, the fruit’s cooked but not stewed. Quite a snip.

'09 now and £5.49 at Maj. A little cracker this, All the bits & pieces of several bents on this grape, but all in harmony. Not the gooseberry whack, not the smokey hit etc., but all there in a nicely balanced bottle. A hung SB.

Yeah, I'll send a mail again this W/end. There's no way we can do his level of SB productivity.

Ba, glad you tried the Fairleigh Est '09, its been good and in Maj for many years, that price you quote is less than the 2003 price if I remember correctly. I thought the '07 was a reasonable coalition, time for another go I recon.
Fairleigh (the '07) more vinous, and a tad more body that many fruit cup styles.
