In 158 stores

Showing its age – quite brown. Great aroma though. Aged and baked. Made from Shiraz, Cab and Merlot. I could sniff this all night. Great taste, as well. Baked and lovely.

Went looking for JE but they were all out. :(
Asked about getting some in and they claim its discontinued - assume they are making way for 2009 vintage

All cred to U.

cracked at 8:45 was sipping with Mad Men later.

Yep '06 is baked alright. Burnt plum crumble crust round the edge of the ole pirex. Not so smelly as the '05. Some kwick fit tyre bay notes, rusty earthy iron shed without the hydrolic oil.

A bargy barge for 6 quid :)

The '06.

2nd Night was better. Kwick fit gone, fuller, and more earthy and heavily corroded iron, deeper and more hamonious. A bit of vanilla, some very dark unrefined choc. Very nice and full. Will go on longer, so buy for the rack as well as next Autumn.

GK, If drinking the whole bottle when sharing, to get the most out of this '06 wine, double decant. Splosh into carafe walk off, come back and splosh again.
OK, a bit more more washing up, but it is well worth it, when fully open the wine is very good.

With this one, I'm not teaching you to suck eggs  I have already enjoyed 3 of them, so I know how to make it sing.

Picked up 2 more on Saturday.
