Light, pale Merlot is never good, is it? It smells of laborador on a warm day. The taste is reasonable. It resembles Merlot. It's thin, but perhaps picnic Merlot, summer lunch Merlot or Merlot lite. It's slightly more pleasant in the mouth and more recognisable than the Sauvignon but the Sauv smells better.
